Raid/Instances schedules

Here the idea is to have a map where everybody will be able to see when and who is most likely to be online at the times you are most likely to play.

For starters, people should comment here leaving 3 pieces of information:
1. Your character’s name;
2. The standard time zone from your city (the value goes from -12 to +12);
3. The time of the day you usually play

After a few entries I’ll build a map/chart where we will be able to see the toon/time crossovers. Hopefully this will help all of us to schedule instances and raids.

Note: There is no need to leave any private information, like address, fone etc. It is not even necessary to specify the country you live in. Just write the current GMT (Greenwhich Meridian Time).

Songs

Every band needs music!! And having some songs in common before coming to the practice makes things easier.
So here are listed the first songs people should have in their Music folder. This is a mismatched selection of Irish drinking songs, folk, jazz and classical but the concerts will be arranged around one theme. Feel free to post your own favorites.

What is with this instance that I can never run it all? hehehe
At this last attempt, Blanze, Jt and Omny got to face Helchgam! With the help of some friends  :D!

Note: The worst enemy in this instance is the water! Don’t ever go to a swim!

To play some music with friends, in great areas, after instances like Carn Dûm is one of the best things to relax a little.

Omnymax profile

Ages ago Omnymax was asked to gaze into Galadriel’s mirror. The revelations were so disturbing that Omnymax was banned from Lórien, and his name forgotten by his kind  and his own life forsaken.

But Galadriel also foretold the time of his return, not only to Lothlórien, but also to his former glory and respect among the elves, and the entire middle-earth! And that time, has just begun…

Omnymax is a lore-master focused on dps who walks the Fury of Nature’s path. Usualy can be seen with Flake, his loyal lynx companion.
He is a supreme master prospector,  jeweller and cook.

How to gain access to the blog?

Three easy steps to become a blog contributor:

1. You have to be an officer to request blog access.
2. You have to create an account at wordpress.com
3. You have to send an in-game mail to Omnymax, Falranion or Poppytine with the e-mail registered in your WordPress account.

We will send you an invitation to become a contributor, you accept, and that’s it.
Now you can access the blog with the username and password of your WordPress account through the meta menu in the footer.

Omnymax, Falranion and Poppytine are the blog administrators, so if there are any doubts or questions, ask us.

With Isengard expansion some features from monster play will become free to play so everyone can enjoy this aspect of lotro.

The Inn of the Forsaken Goonies

Yesterday my alt Elway and Falranion’s alt Amgalaras did the Inn of the Forsaken instance, it was the first time I did this one and I enjoyed it very much. It is a very unique instance. With lots of traps, secret passageways, riddle doors and a pirate-like ship it was a lot like one of my favorite childhood movies: The Goonies. For those kids who haven’t seen it, go download it now! Another reason to watch it is to see the debut of actor Sean Astin, who played Sam in the LotR movies.

Notes on the instance:

• To kill Umín you have to have a character to hold him over the traps (acting as a tank) and a healer character to heal the tank. A third character or even the healer himself has to activate the traps. The tank should be positioned as to have Umín over the traps but not himself or he’d be killed.
• Only pages 1, 2, 3 and 5 of The Journal of Captain Rabghul can be found in the tier 1 instance. It took us a while to figured that out and it is the one downside to this instance.
